Our first Young Eagle event for 2019 was safe, efficient and smooth thanks to a great group of volunteers that really showed up to get it done. In addition to the pilots that participated I wanted to thank Val, Denise, Bonnie and Debby that handled the administrative side, Capt Connie and John, who served as Ramp Boss. Special thanks to our youngest volunteer Ben Lache who brought his Kitfox and handled the ground school / prefight inspection training for our Young Eagle guests.
We have already discovered and discussed some things we want to better at our next event. First one on the list is refreshments and snacks for our volunteers, I dropped the ball on that.
