Thursday, November 17, 2016, 7 p.m. at Keith Phillips' hangar, 222 Cessna Blvd, we will hold our scheduled meeting. At this meeting we will elect our new slate of officers. The nominating committee has selected Matt Simmons, President, Mike Kelly, Vice President, Evert Oortman, Treasurer, and Monika Ditmars, Secretary.
I want to “Thank” Dennis Powell, Treasurer and Bonnie Powell, Secretary along with Matt Simmons, Vice-President, for their unending help in making Chapter 288 a huge success. I also want to “Thank” Matt Beattie, our webmaster, for the untold hours he has spent making our website “go” and forwarding all my messages.
Our speaker this month will be Bill Turner. Bill is the retired President of Link Corporation. After graduation from Colgate University, Bill was commissioned in the USAF pilot training program where he earned his wings and flew the F-102 Delta Dagger for the Air Defense Command stationed in Duluth, MN for 4 years.
He joined Link as a Sales Trainee, rose through the ranks over a 33 year period, the last six as President. This was an exciting time at Link as their simulators were vital to the success of the Space Program.
This message also serves as the last call, for the Palm Beach Propeller Tour on Saturday November 19, 2016.
