The monthly meeting of the IMC Club will be held this Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Keith Phillips hangar, 222 Cessna Blvd., Port Orange, FL. The meeting starts at 7:00pm, so please try to be on time. The meeting lasts 1 hour and is open to anyone. You do not have to have an instrument rating to participate. In fact, what you learn at these meetings may prove to be very helpful someday.
This meeting will be conducted by me (Dave Gitelman), as our regular moderator, Barry Dainas is away.
There are several scenarios to pick from. I thought those of you that have never experienced icing might learn from seeing “Unexpected Icing over Oregon”. Those of you that have the experience can join right in. Yes, you can get iced up in Florida. Time permitting, we can also visit a “Partial Panel Emergency”.
I will list all the scenarios available before the meeting. If there is a preference for one over another, we can certainly accommodate the request.
See you Thursday.
Dave Gitelman, President
EAA Chapter 288
